We had a great time at the Quinta Bela Cottage. The farm was beautiful and so was the hospitality. We loved the horses and all the animals! The cabin was so cozy and nice. We definitely plan on coming back here soon! The services at Guesthouses were excellent. I was contacted almost immediately after I put in a reservation online and they filled me in on all the details of the cottage as well as great info and attractions in the surrounding area. Guesthouses is a wonderful company and I definitely plan on doing business with you all again. —SA 02/12
Quinta Bela gets top marks in all categories! Gracious hospitality, excellent amenities in this historic log cabin. spotlessly clean upon our arrival, and delicious homemade banana bread and selection of fresh fruits and coffee and tea. I have already recommended it to others, put it on TripAdvisor through your website, and would gladly return again! —JZ 04/12
Amazingly hospitable. We had just left DC and were worried because we were late for our "check in" time. We also know that many people in DC will charge you for being late. Well, Guesthouses was not only OK with the fact that we got in late, but they apologized to us for waiting. Wow, we were in the wrong and they still apologized that we had to wait. Not only that but when we called the host she made sure we had a key within 15 minutes. Just wow. The cottage was very very clean. I'm a little too tall for the bed in there at 6'3," but it was great anyway. It was stocked with more than just breakfast supplies - fresh fruit, milk, cereal. The office people were friendly and fast to respond to any problems we had. I was soo happy with our stay here. It was just a comfort to be surrounded by people with such good hearts. —CP 05/12
The hospitality was warm and friendly... fresh flowers, a hand written note and fresh fruit were greatly appreciated. The greeting of the dogs (3 of them) was a little overwhelming at first, but they were friendly and once we were comfortably inside, it was very relaxing. The cottage has a great atmosphere and size. It was very clean with the exception of some bugs under the windows and then when the "stink" bugs came out at night. Those stinkers have been everywhere we have been the past couple of weeks in both rustic and newly furnished places. They were harmless and added to the rustic experience. As a last minute booking we were really glad to be able to have a place for just one night.
The farm is adorable and fun to walk around. I was so glad that I was able to bring my pup, he just loved it. I enjoyed being allowed to pet the horses, and loved sitting on the porch while looking out over the pond. The hostess is wonderful, so friendly and helpful. We found the cabin quaint, cute, and clean, with all the amenities needed for a rustic getaway! The breakfast supplies were simple, but just what we needed. A great touch with a homemade loaf of fresh banana bread when we arrived! It made the cabin smell wonderful, and I ate it all weekend. —AW 09/13
